The Farmers' Bank of Rustico, a National Historic Site, officially operated from 1864 to 1894. Credited with being "the precursor of the Credit Union movement in North America", it houses a permanent exhibition focused on its establishment and the work of founder Father Georges-Antoine Belcourt. Doucet House, an early Acadian log house, circa 1772, offers a look at the daily lives of an Acadian family. Check website for information on daily interpretation programs & events.
